Benjamin Schneider, M.D., is Medical Director of the UCLA ABC Child Partial Hospitalization Program and Associate Medical Director of the UCLA Child and Adult Neurodevelopmental Clinic, where he provides comprehensive psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and adults with autism, ADHD, developmental disabilities, and co-occurring mental health conditions. He is also an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior.

Dr. Schneider is widely recognized for his ability to translate the rapidly evolving field of pediatric psychopharmacology into practical, balanced, and evidence-based guidance for families and professionals. His clinical expertise spans a broad range of psychiatric and neurodevelopmental disorders, with particular interests in multidisciplinary collaboration, complex diagnostic assessment, and the thoughtful integration of medication into comprehensive treatment plans. In addition to his clinical leadership, he serves on the UCLA Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital Ethics Committee and regularly lectures on psychopharmacology and child and adolescent mental health.

Dr. Schneider earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and Philosophy from Stanford University and his Doctor of Medicine from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He completed both his residency in Psychiatry and fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at UCLA, where he has remained on faculty.
