Founder & Educator, Neurodivergent Insights

Megan Anna Neff, Psy.D., is an AuDHD clinical psychologist, author, and educator. After her child was identified as autistic, she began to recognize similar patterns in herself, leading to her own discovery of autism and ADHD and a shift away from traditional clinical practice toward neurodivergent-affirming education.

Dr. Neff's work centers on fostering self-understanding, nervous system regulation, and identity integration for AuDHD, autistic, and ADHD adults, particularly those identified later in life. She is the author of Self-Care for Autistic People, The Autistic Burnout Workbook, and the forthcoming AuDHD Unlocked (Fall 2027). She is also the founder of Neurodivergent Insights, the platform behind her clinical writing, educational frameworks, infographics, and the Neurodivergent Insights YouTube channel.

Blending clinical expertise, research, and lived AuDHD experience, Dr. Neff translates complex neurodivergent experiences into accessible, affirming resources for adults, clinicians, and workplaces. Her work has been featured by the Los Angeles Times, CNN, and The Huffington Post, and she is widely recognized for helping individuals and professionals better understand neurodivergence through a strengths-based, evidence-informed lens.
